I bought a T-4055 in the mid-70s when Stereophile raved about it. It sounded good, and had phenomenal reception. Sold it a couple years later in Audio Amateur classifieds. I think I may have questioned my wisdom in doing so at the time, when the buyer actually drove from Chicago to Louisville to get it :-).
