How is TV reception? UHF / VHF?
Any audio type neighbours?
Sounds like you're gonna need a tall mast as well as a rotator, and a long boom 'tenna.
Dja know where 'yr desired stations' are, ..... yet?
Ut'd be real neat if they were all on just ONE tower, eh? No rotator to buy / maintain, and no interior compass indicator on the ceiling, marked with 'yr d s's bearings' - for your wife to just HATE!
Don't tell Snert, or Halfwit, or any of the other resident far-right-REpugnikkens rahnd heeyah, but Aussie is SO socialistic that some cities do have just that, like Seattle does IIRC! ;-)!!!!
That tuner - given its history - may not need an alignment, there are simple ways to tell. Check the dial positions against station's frequencies end to end, and check the RF and audio performance at either end of the band.
If no probs? no probs!
