Good Budget Tuner?

Hey I'm looking for a nice listenable tuner for <$500

I saw the Arcam T61 on sale for $395 and a NAD and Yamaha for $250 (C425 and TX497). I hadn't done any research prior so it was just a quick look. I owned a NAD amp in the past and upgraded to a Bryston B60 so I'm thinking buying NAD again would be sort of like a downgrade? I own an Arcam CD72T for CD playback.

Any other considerations?
