Marantz 10B info/help (would be appreciated)

Hi, I recently(last night)was playing my Marantz 10B (the scope never worked), after replacing the 80/50/20/20 can that was bad the tuner was playing nicely, without the scope as usual. Then after about 20 minutes of play the scope seemed to come to life, and as soon as that happened I lost gain and some of the high frequencies. Sounds strange but true. Could this be an opto-coupler problem that Ive been hearing about? Would appreciate any and all info. Thanks much, J
