In this case "earthed" means that the device must be connected to a three wire "mains" circuit. If your home wiring is: up to date/code/correctly wired and you use the supplied IEC three wire connector with all three prongs in tact, when you plug the unit into a 120VAC outlet, the unit will be "earthed" in the context of the label.
