Now the question is: what type of connector do i buy that will allow me to repair this? I can't get a new cable. It disappears into the walls! I assume that i can do this myself.
The old connector had a little hollow (open at the end) round metal tube, not a pin, set in the middle of a bigger metal tube. The cable is shredded at the end; all i can see is some mangled copper wire.
Does it make any difference that I live in Denmark?
