My advice would be to choose on the basis of performance.Go to www.fmtunerinfo.com and click on "Sony" in the column on the left side of the page. There are brief write-ups of many different Sony tuners.
The Sony ST-S730ES has a black face and it is a very good tuner if you happen upon a good one. I also really like the ST-J75 as it is a superb performer and significantly undervalued in the marketplace of used vintage tuners. But it is not a cosmetic match to your CD player.
