'Ya should have gotten the SONY ICF-2010.
During the Great San Diego Power Failure, in 2014, I think, there was NO NOISE on any bands.
I could get a US broadcast AM station every 10khz.
SW came in very good as well, with many South American stations in the 49 meter band and down to 3mhz.
WWV was like crystal clear. I wish one of the scheduled GAPS had occurred so I could have had a shot at WWVH.
The ONLY change I would make would be the narrow filter being a LITTLE wider.
