IF you have some good stations nearby.
I would suggest that you think about getting a really good directional antenna with gain, that you can point at each of them.
(No tuner made can reject multipath.)
Then you will be able to drive any valve tuner into full quieting. This means a LOT more signal than an SS tuner needs. 'kay?!
Budget for a rebuild and alignment and then go ahead.
Leaving out the antenna is not a good idea with valve tuners.
They generally need a lot more signal to sound as good as they can.
