1. Turn off the power amp.
2. Swap the interconnect cable between right and left channels AT THE TUNER OUTPUT.
3. Turn the power amp back on and see whether the problem has switched channels.
4. If it has switched, the problem is the tuner.
5. If not, repeat the process but swap right and left AT THE PREAMP INPUT.

This is a good way to isolate problems. You could have a cable problem, or a problem with the input jacks on the preamp. When you switch the preamp to mono, it blends the silent and working channels so you hear output from both channels.

Never swap cables with power to the speakers! Good luck.
