Ah yes. I had one new from a dealer back in the day. Within months it developed some kind of problem while under warranty.
It then spent several months on a road trip in the US, traveling between two (2) different Authorized service shops; the first in Berkeley CA, and the second in NY. No one could fix it.
It was promptly retired to landfill or a recycle facility. I don't recall which.
The end result was a painful memory on seeing "Cambridge" anything and avoiding anything electronic that has to be shipped overseas.
Not to be too terribly negative, but some times you just have to face the facts and move on to something different. Just like relationships. IME, there's not much an average owner can do to "fix" a tuner, being in the world of RF. I'm thinking that adding "memory presets" added a lot of unneeded and tweeky complexity to the thing.
