Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

In the good old days, most components used standard bulbs which went by industry numbers (e.g. #47). Those are easily obtained from the hardware store, Radio Shack, Mouser or Newark. If you can find a service manual for your tuner, you should be able to find a part number. For that vintage I would not expect a Yamaha proprietary bulb, but I never worked on one! I don't know of any tuner part specialist, sorry.

In the good old days, you could buy a headlight for any car at any gas station... but I digress! Good luck!
