Aesthetically, I'm partial to your classic Marantz blue dial tuners.
As a teenager, I'd go to my local hi-fi shop and lust after the Marantz gear I couldn't afford. That wall of blue is permanently etched in my memory.
I picked up a used Marantz 105 tuner years ago, just so I could satisfy that teenage hunger, which lingered. It's certainly not my best performing tuner, but the dial light does make me smile.
