Hi
I recently acquired a mint MR74 but there was a problem with it. The sound is really weak in my system with the preamp volume control at the highest point. The problem with the tuner is with the MPX near the second darlinton transistor (Q402). In the signal path that goes in the (Q402) transistor, there's a 47K resistor (R406). Signal coming in this resistor is high and at it's output that's going in Q402, signal is really weak. I had to change the original Q402 and even if the new one seems to work, the problem is still there. I only have something like 4.5 volts at the Q402 base instead of 6.3v What could be the problem ?
Thanks
