The 310E was the last version of their top tube tuner until the 4310 was produced and is stereo. The preceding 310D is similar but needs an MPX decoder. Stephen Stone published a survey of the Scott tube tuners which you can view at the link below.The 312 (kit version LT-112) is Scott's first-generation solid-state tuner and highly regarded. The 4312 is the deluxe version of the 312 but uses Nuvistor tubes in the front end, as did the first versions of the 312 and LT-112.
