Hi,
To augment what paulb said you might want to run your location in the FM Fool (Link below) station locator function. It will give you a list of stations and antenna vectors to assist in aiming your antenna. Then you can review the stations for content to see what might be of interest.
At worst it will cut down the time with someone up on the roof.
