I never found a Sherwood tuner schematic- so I will guess the rectifier tube. Likely a EZ80. EZ80 spec is 50uF maximum. I would hesitate to use 80uF, however beyond shortened tube life a NOS tube may last say 15 years vs 30 years. I most worry about arc-over at start-up when too high a capacitor value is used on cathode type rectifier tubes.
