Just be aware that many integrateds made today don't have the phono stage (the ability to play records, to keep it simple) you're looking for.
Have you had your Marantz 2230 checked out? It's a good piece, and perhaps having that over-hauled wouldn't cost you too much. Just something to consider, before you assume it's junk.
