something here..Jack isnt saying they cant sound good and neither am I..What you need to do tho is take out the old out dated caps and resistors and such and put newer more competant ones in..Then you want to add more filtering to give you more energy in your power supply..Those are a fine amplifier but like the heath w5m they need attention but they can sound world class as the w5m does with upgrades.THey were kind of down on power becuase they were made to mate with the ESL57 speakers which were only suppose to use a 25 watt amp.
