A2 does have its troubles. It does preclude some driver topologies. Some of which I have not figured how to live without.I think I can try Mark's idea with 845's fairly easily. Anyway, the PS is almost completely transferable between a few topologies.
I wonder what the cathode impedance looks like for A2 drive. If I get teh curves right, it does not drop so precipitiously as g1 does. Not by a mile. this is a good thing!
