"...One of the better ccts is shown in Fig.10. Note that the control grid of one 6v6 is coupled to the screen grid of the other through a .05-uf condenser. When a signal is applied to the upper tube, it's screen current varies & develops a voltage across the 1,500-ohm resistor. This voltage has the correct magnitude & polarity to excite the lower tube."I breadboarded this cct using Reg.PS & Stancor 3830A Univ. OT's, I increased the.02 cap to .47, added a 12au7 tube for the input. Sounds Nice, nice air! Sorta between a SE & PP. I like it better than the 6BQ5 SE, 6CA7 SE, 6DN7 SE w/IT, previously breadboared.
