Refreshing ideas in new communities?

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

The competence at communities such as Audioasylum.com, Diyaudio.com etc. are really respective and impressive. Still, I think a look over the fence at the not so obvious diy-communities are refreshing and often open up for new way of thinking.

I know there are japanese horn/tube entusiasts, russian tonearm craftsmen, french horn entusiasts, etc whom chosen alternative ways in theory and in practice.

These communities are often less obvious to find than the mainstream sites. And a simple google-search is not enough to find them. Not to often these communities are sort of subcoultures not so eager to show off with their ideas.

Any suggestion for websites (or FB-groups) inspiring and open up for alternative ways?
