With dc voltage on the filaments ...

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

a hum pot serves no purpose does it? So how do I tie the cathode resistor into the circuit for self biasing if not from the center wipe of a humpot? Is this where I need to use a 50 ohm resistor from each ear and tie them together and connect the cathode resistor and cap to that point and them go to ground with the other ends?
