Help: Hammond 272DX 125 Tap not working, but 115 is working.

The 115VAC tap on the Hammond 272DX power transformer is working just fine. The problem is that I am getting about 122VAC from my wall and I would therefore, like to use the 125VAC tap on the Hammond.

Per the 272HDX schematic, the white wire goes to neutral and the user has a choice for hot between black (125V) and grey (115V). The grey 115V works fine, albiet too much voltage for my needs. So, I switched the grey and black wires. The black wire does not work. No sound out of the amp. tubes don't heat up.

Thoughts?

UPDATE: I TOOK APART THE TRANSFORMER AND REPLACED THE 115, 125 AND NEUTRAL WIRES. THIS CURED THE ISSUE. IT IS WORKING WELL.

I MUST ADD, I DISCOVERED HOW CHEAP THESE TRANSFORMER ARE MADE. THEY DO A VERY POOR JOB SOLDERING THE WIRE THEY USE IS BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.
