People come and go. Sometimes they lose interest for several years, or they just get busy with other things or other aspects of the hobby. I've also seen Mr. Qvortrup suddenly appear for clarification when his products come under discussion, then just as quickly fade back into the woodwork. I really don't think any of this is unusual in these forums.
