RE: Ever run some nice 6550 tubes in those KT88 amps?

I've run vintage TungSol 6550s and reissue TungSol 6550s all the time.The early reissue TS 6550s sounded very good but they didn't hold up well to 470v applications..Now they may have gotten more reliable in the higher voltage ranges..Jim McShane would be the best one to ask.I would love to get some reissue TS 6550s again if they can take the 500v rating like the originals.
