OK, that all made sense to me.

Triode Kingdom nailed it above.

When you take into account the voltage drop due to the DCR of the chokes and the power transformer secondary and the fact that the supply is acting like a cap input supply until the all the circuit is hooked up and drawing current.......the voltage you're getting seems about right.

None of this (audio electronics) is magic. It's really all just very understandable math.

So, nothing is wrong. The power supply circuit is just doing what it does.

Where does that leave you?

I don't know. You might need a higher voltage power transformer.

Or maybe you could use a small "cheater" cap before the input choke to get the voltage back up or a different rectifier tube with a small voltage drop (like a 5ar4) or both.

I've done the cheater cap thing. It's not as good as a pure choke input filter supply but it works.

One point I hope you understand, when you design a power supply circuit you won't know what the final voltage from that power supply will be until you have all the audio circuit (the load) hooked up and drawing the proper current.

And a sim is only as good as the data you give it.
