You're very close - connect the turntable to Phono 1 on the Cit I - that's the input for a modern phono cartridge. Otherwise you have it nailed.

The lowest capacitance high quality cable I know of is the Blue Jeans Cable LC-1 which has a capacitance of just over 12 pf per foot. Keep the length to 3 feet or less if you can. You can read up on it at the link below.
