Well the the way I have things configured at the moment.
6J5 > 6EM7 low gain > EML520B single ended output.
Mate pretty happy with this config working into Tannoy 385mm dc cobalt spkrs > in DIY 300L enclosures.
You ask why not DHT driver ? Good question but I need IDHT to keep painful hum down to acceptable levels mate. Currently the amp uses AC on 6J5 > 6EM7 low gain triode > then DC filaments on EML520b in SE mode fucking magic to my ears with fuck-all hum < 300uV on spkrs. I'm using a IT at the driver stage so the driver has to be similar to 6EM7 power triode or alternate.
