As I said, it depends on which parameter you consider the most important. The 1200 ohm resistor is off more than the 1k resistor for plate current, which is almost spot on for the 1k, but the plate voltage is closer with the 1200 ohm resistor. If you subscribe to Jim McShane's explanation of how grid bias should be looked at, the grid voltage becomes a wash. So which is most important, plate current or plate voltage?
