RE: Does anybody know the Welborne Remote Attenuator?

I still don't know what the part# is, but I've otherwise figured it out and the resistances that it supplies to the signal all check out. I tried hooking it up to a source and an amp, but couldn't get it to work, but it is an amp I've never tried before, one of those cheap Chinese TPA3116 boards.

By my readings and calculations it should work exactly as advertised, with 60 steps of approximately .6db.

The main issue I had was in setting the trimpot as it didn't seem to work no matter which way I turned. Tearing it apart so I could measure the resistance where it counted gave me a clue that it really did work.

I'm going to install it into my Aikido pre-amp tomorrow and see how it does.
