2.5K Plate load resistor

You have a tube with a mu of 43 and a plate resistor of 2.5K which will throttle it back. You are putting on the gas and the brake at the same time. You could run the tube through a step-down interstage and not waste all the great current.

If you want to know the current, just measure the voltage at the cathode and use Ohms law. If it is just a design wire it up with a 500 ohm cathode resistor and work down to get your desired operating point.
