RE: Does anybody know the Welborne Remote Attenuator?

Ron has a bit of a sorted past but I think he's basically a good guy that wound up in some bad circumstances. Don't know the details.

Here's what I do know. Remote controlled pots are a bit of a problem to implement, especially in the vintage that your control is. It seems from what you say that it works but not well at low volume settings. So, that tells me, the remote control is capable of moving the pot(s). But, the volume level at the bottom of the range is not what you desire. Two different problems.

1. the remote control does move the pot; or
2. the pot setting at the bottom of the range is problematic.

Are we trying to fix number 1 or 2? I think you mean 2.
