Question about a Peerless S-265-Q output transformer

I have a pair.

I don't understand how to connect the secondaries.

1 through 6 are the primaries. 7 through 12 are the secondaries.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

P.S. Douglas post this in another forum long ago.

"As you look at the bottom of the can, with the secondary connections in line up and down connect the middle two and take output at 16R from the top and bottom ones. For 8R, connect the ones next to the top and next to the bottom and take output from the upper and lower tabs. For 4R you put them in parallel, lower middle to the top and upper middle to the bottom and take output between uppermost and upper middle."

So the secondary is two center tapped 4 ohm windings.

Connected in series it's 16 ohms.

Connected in parallel it's 4 ohms.

For 8 ohms (if I'm reading this correctly) we use the top half the top winding in series with bottom half the bottom winding.

Half of a 4 ohm winding would be 1 ohm. Two 1 ohm windings in series would be 4 ohms, no?

Help!
