Making SEDHT amps is rewarding and addictive. When I built the Geiru Chan monoblocs I discovered the advantage of directly heated drivers(WE102D). My REN904/RE604 monoblocs sound good, but too "polished" and a little lifeless compared to the Geiru Chan. So I want to replace the REN904 with DHT. But which one will work well with the RE604? I don't know how to calculate which tubes can work, so I'm asking for suggestions. May be the 26,102D, KC3,3A/110B, RE134, RE304, Ca, Cd, Cf, or a few others I have in my collection? Others? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Johnny
