The 100 ohm 10 turn wire pots I ordered off ebay for $6 for a pair(with free shipping no less!) came today and I put them in the 26 preamp breadboard as humpots for the ac filaments. They seem to be working just fine and let me tune the hum out to where you literally have to have your ear right next to the speaker to hear anything. Even then it's not much. I went ahead and ordered 4 more as I plan to use them on other projects too. Don't know how long they will last, but they should not get too much wear as hum pots.
