I have a Parasound HCA-500 driving
my heavily modded Magnepan MGLR-1s
that I inherited from my brother.
I liked the sound so much I bought another
but this one sounds dull and sluggish.
(For either center channel or sub amp)
Researching/Googling I came up with
PS caps or a bias adjustment off.
I am leaning toward tired caps.
Bias would give you crossover distortion
which would be the opposite of dull.
Any advice out there ???
