Should this be here or on the SET Asylum? Anyway, I have some extra parts, and am thinking of slowly putting together a stereo direct coupled SE 2A3 amp. JC Morrison published a Loftin-White design with 6SL7 SRPP driver in the Fi Primer and another DC design called Micro using an 6SL7 with paralleled sections in Sound Practices Summer 1993. Though I have searched, I have not found a direct comparison of the sound of these two circuits. I know there are a million other possibilities, but any experiences and advice about these two would be appreciated. Thanks a lot, David
