I would not recommend it. There can be subtle variations in heater current draw from one tube to another, in which case one might get 7V and the other 5V.
If you do, though, be sure the tubes are the same brand.
That being said, I know of one guitar amp manufacturer who is running four EL84's in series across a 25V supply.
