I just took a look at the small caps, .0015m, and the one from pin 6 of the 12ax7 to an el84 in the problem channel looks a little too dark compared the cap in the other channel. I don't have any small caps on hand so could I try a .047m instead? The 12ax7 has a .0015m cap going to pin 2 of one el84 and a .047m going to the other el84.
Here is a schematic that seems about right but the previous owner converted it from 6EU7 to a 12ax7 tubes.
