I need a little help solving a problem with my amp. It is a magnavox EL84 PP pulled from an old cabinet. In addition to the EL84s there is a rectifier tube and two 12ax7s
The problem is that the volume in one channel is increasing and decreasing on a pretty regular basis, about every 2 minutes or so. I have checked and resoldered all the connections with no luck. Is this a sign of the power cap going bad? I have changed out all of the tubes.
