Being that pentodes have an inherently high output impedance,they don't like varying speaker load impedance and running a 43% UL tap is going to dramatically lower the output impedance and bring it much closer to that of triode operation.The deuce I believe is tapped at 20% which would not bring it as low but the 43% tap gets it right next door to triode.It would be nice if there was more data on UL hookup on these tubes.
