I don't know who you are, or what circuit you have built. How about three quick measurements please? Amp at idle, measure carefully and SAFELY !!!!!
(1) The VDC and ( more importantly ) the VAC ( or mVAC ) of the B+ that feeds the primary of your output transformer. That would be "C2" in a typical L1/C1/L2/C2 filter.
(2) The VDC and VAC ( more importantly ) of the B+ at "C3", the main cap that feeds B+ to the front end stage(s).
(3) The VAC , ( actually mVAC ) "across" each output terminal, that feeds your speaker, ( the secondary of your output transformer ) with amp at idle.
FYI, I'd like to see 900 mVAC as a maximum for (1), 2 mVAC or less for (2) and a low mVAC for (3).
What is the sensitivity or efficiency of your speakers?
SAFETY FIRST please, use clip leads and one hand in back pocket for the first two.
