I have series connected pairs of 1200PIV HEXFREDs in a hybrid bridge. I use 4.7M high voltage flame proof resistors across the diodes to equalize the voltage across them. Each pair is has a .01uF 1600V polypropylene across it. The equalizing resistors work. Haven't had a failure since replacing single rectifiers with series connected pairs.
