Most experimenters would be better off using the C-56U 35mH/.79 ohm/2A air gapped choke for choke input as it would not be a buzzy bee swarm in their amplifiers.
Or use the Stancor chokes DF/JM use if the application is similar.
Maybe Doc Hoyer sits far enough away from his amplifiers that the buzzing sound from the .32H Triad input choke is not too annoying or he can't hear it for some reasons.
