I conducted a simple experiment that seems to show lses PS imparts the same effect as a dynamic expander. Many proponents of lses seem to always use the same adjectives to describe why they like the sound. Such as, fast , punchy, dynamic, etc...
Being human we will inevitably be prone to enjoying certain psychoacoustical effects over a reasonably accurate representation of the performance. Some will choose one over the other, and I was merely asking drlowmu if he could produce a PS that acted like a dynamic compressor. The ying to the lses yang, so to speak. After all, when the rubber meets the road, we are all listening to the power supply.
