Forget the interstage transformer (IT) idea. The circuit has GNFB and an IT inside a NFB loop is a prescription for problems.

If you can get or assemble the values you need, non-inductive wirewound resistors, such as those sold under the Mills brand, may be "what the doctor ordered".
