You still have to consider the placebo effect. You can't just say because Shottkey rectifiers in fact produce less switching noise, your amp sound better with them.
What if the plain old rectifier bridge was not inducing noise into the signal path? Unless you measure before and after, you don't really know.
That is the scientific approach.
Now if one wants to swap out the bridge rectifier because it might be quiter, OK.
