Home Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Solved!

Thanks to Mikey Samra generous phone support, we worked thru the problem. Briefly, the output tubes were running on too low of voltage. Once the voltage was raised, the fullness of the amp came back. Mike suggested that I switch to the higher VAC tap on the input which brought everything up to snuff.

Thanks Mikey!
