It occurred to me that it might even be possible to insert the K&K parts right on the SuperReg board. The upper device in the K&K would replace the IRF820, and the lower device (I don't recall the parts designations) in the K&K would replace the LM317. Possibly the potentiometer from the old circuit can stay as is, for the least possible work. But I need to examine the schematic and the tracings on the board to learn whether it would be that easy to do.Edit: Last night, a comparison of the schematics for the K&K CCS vs the AW SuperReg CCS quickly revealed that it would not be "simple" to plug the K&K parts into the SuperReg PCB. No free lunch.
